“I love this BBQ Grill”
I love to BBQ, but there’s no room on the patio for a bigger grill. The grill fits correctly and then can be folded away for storage. The only complaint I have is the minimal capacity of the drippings catcher. When grilling burgers, it fills up, and then the grease catches fire.
My solution is to remove the tray and just slide a pie pan under the grill. The solution also significantly reduced the mess from any grease dripping through the bottom ventilation holes.

“Awesome Grill”
I was initially nervous about purchasing this little grill as it only has 5500 BTUs. Most other grills this size have 10,000-12,000. After my first use, I’m sold. This small grill is excellent! I grilled up some broccoli and hamburgers, and they were done in a very timely fashion.
Although the legs do not lock when unfolded (standing position), I do like the fact that they fold. The folded legs make it easy to carry, and it doesn’t weigh a ton like some of the other grills with cast iron grill plates. The real test will be when I cook a steak on the grill, but I think it will do just fine.
The drip tray holds plenty of greases, just make sure it’s clicked in their stable before grilling. Easy to clean. You can also cook with the grill lid closed, which I love.

Yes, to use this grill you must buy a propane bottle. All hardware stores and Walmart, Home Depot, etc carry them. We suggest you buy at least two so you will always have a spare. Propane bottles are not very expensive. Small propane bottles will give you many great grillings with this little grill.
Does the Cuisinart pontoon grill come with propane connections?
Everything is contained. All you need is the one-pound bottle or the next size up and you are set. You don’t need anything else. We used the grill for much of last summer with a couple of the small propane bottles. You can get the adapter for the twenty-five-pound tank and hose but I don’t think it is necessary. The small tanks are perfect and certainly portable.
How do you manage the greese on a portable grill?
We just put aluminum foil in there and then clean it out every other time.
